Vacation Rental Cleaning Inspections You Can See for Yourself
How Our Inspections Work
One of the most common frustrations owners have with a cleaner is not knowing whether the unit was actually cleaned until a guest says it was not. We built our process so you never have to find out that way. Every vacation rental cleaning we do is checked by a second person, an inspector who comes in after the Cleaning Pro finishes, photo-verifies the unit, and marks it guest-ready only when it is 100 percent ready for the next arrival.
You do not have to take our word for it either. Owners and property managers can log in to see when the Cleaning Pro arrived and left, when the inspection was completed, and every time-stamped photo from the inspection, so you can check any unit before your guest walks in. Across more than 150,000 turns, inspecting every clean before it is marked guest-ready is a big part of why our clients average a 4.9 guest cleanliness rating.
Why Inspections Matter
How We Protect Your Property Before Every Arrival
Every inspection is built to catch problems while there is still time to fix them, keep you informed throughout the day, and get small issues handled before they turn into guest complaints or expensive repairs.
Proactive Quality Checks
Our inspector checks every unit after the clean and before your guest arrives, so anything that was missed gets fixed on the spot instead of showing up in a review.
Live Clean Status Throughout the Day
You can see where every clean stands at any point in the day, because check-in, check-out, and the guest-ready mark show up in your portal as they happen, and you never have to call or text to find out if a unit is ready.
Proactive Damage Reporting
When an inspector finds damage, it is photographed, time-stamped, and reported to you right after checkout, which gives you what you need for a damage claim while it is still easy to tie to the right stay.
Maintenance Reporting and In-House Repairs
Loose handles, slow drains, and dripping faucets are flagged the day they are found, and our maintenance team can handle many of those repairs in-house, so small issues get fixed before they become a guest complaint or a bigger repair bill.

Every Inspection, Every Turn
What Our Inspectors Look For
Every inspection averages 38 photos, and each one has a job. Our inspectors look for four things on every turn, and guest readiness is the one we are obsessed with.

Damage
Broken items, stains, wall damage, and anything guests left in worse shape are photographed and reported to you with the date and time, so you can decide on a repair or a damage claim with proof in hand.

Issues and Preventative Maintenance
Dripping faucets, burned-out bulbs, loose fixtures, slow drains, and anything else starting to wear gets flagged early, while it is still a small fix instead of a guest complaint.

Staging
Towels, amenities, pillows, throws, and furniture are checked against how your property should be presented, from the washcloth on the towel bar to the chairs on the balcony.

Guest Readiness
Beds, floors, bathrooms, and the details a guest notices in the first five minutes. A unit is marked guest-ready only when it is 100 percent ready.
Damage and Maintenance We Commonly Report
These are real photos from our inspections. Each one was photographed, time-stamped, and reported to the owner or property manager so it could be fixed before it turned into a guest complaint.

A real inspection checklist

The checklist follows the same steps as our 7-step cleaning process, and every item gets a pass or a fail. When something fails, like the fridge shelf here, the inspector records a photo and a note, and the unit is not marked guest-ready until it is fixed.
From Check-In to Guest-Ready, Step by Step
1. The Cleaning Pro Checks In
When the Cleaning Pro arrives at your property, they check in through our operations system, and that check-in shows up in your portal right away. If you manage a portfolio, you can see which units are being cleaned at any moment without calling or texting anyone.
2. The Clean Follows Our 7-Step Process
Every turnover follows our 7-step cleaning process, from stripping beds and replacing linens from our commercial laundry facilities to cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, clearing sand from every floor, and restocking starter supplies. The unit is then staged to the property’s standard.
3. The Cleaning Pro Checks Out
When the clean is finished, the Cleaning Pro checks out in the system, and you can see that the unit is ready for inspection.
4. The Inspector Photo-Verifies the Unit
An inspector then goes through the property after the Cleaning Pro has left, taking about 38 photos on average. They check the work against our standards, look for damage and maintenance issues, confirm the staging, and fix or flag anything that is not right. Only when everything is 100 percent guest-ready is the unit marked ready for the next arrival.
5. You See Everything
The inspection photos are in your portal as soon as the inspection is done, and they are time-stamped, so you can see exactly what the unit looked like before your guest arrived. If an inspector finds something that needs attention beyond cleaning, such as a broken item or a maintenance issue, it is reported to you with photos and followed up until it is fixed or you decide to hold off.
If a Guest Still Reports a Problem
If a guest reports a cleaning issue within 24 hours of check-in, we come back and re-clean it at no charge, and in most cases we are back out the same day. Because every clean has a photo record, it is also easy to see what changed between our inspection and the guest arrival.

Vacation Rental Inspection Questions
Is every vacation rental cleaning inspected?
Yes. Every clean is inspected by a second person after the Cleaning Pro finishes, and the unit is only marked guest-ready when the inspector confirms it is 100 percent ready.
Can I see the inspection photos?
Yes. Owners and property managers can log in to see every time-stamped inspection photo for their units as soon as the inspection is complete.
How do I know when my cleaner arrived?
Our Cleaning Pros check in through our operations system when they arrive and check out when they finish, and you can see both in real time.
Who does the inspection?
A trained inspector, not the Cleaning Pro who cleaned the unit, so every clean gets an independent second look before your guest arrives.
What happens if the inspector finds a problem?
The inspector fixes cleaning issues on the spot or sends them back to be corrected before the unit is marked ready. Damage and maintenance issues are reported to you with photos and followed up until they are resolved.
What if a guest complains about cleanliness?
If a guest reports a cleaning issue within 24 hours of check-in, we re-clean it at no charge, usually the same day, and the inspection photos help show what changed after our visit.
Do property management companies get the same visibility?
Yes. Property managers can see check-ins, check-outs, and inspection photos across every unit we clean for them, which makes it easier to answer owners and guests quickly.
What does the owner portal show?
Your portal shows when the Cleaning Pro checked in and checked out, when our inspector marked the unit 100 percent guest-ready, and every time-stamped photo from the inspection. Owners and property managers can check any unit at any time.
How many photos are taken during an inspection?
Our inspectors average about 38 photos per inspection, covering each room, the staging, and anything that needs attention, so you have a complete record of how the unit was left for your guest.
Do inspectors look for maintenance issues?
Yes. Along with checking the clean and the staging, inspectors look for damage and early maintenance issues like dripping faucets, burned-out bulbs, or loose fixtures, and report them to you with photos so small problems can be handled before they become bigger ones.
